Football fans have been left in hysterics after a clip from Soccer Saturday has gone viral after reemerging years later.
The panellists are discussing Kevin De Bruyne's move to Manchester City, and are baffled at the price tag of the Belgian. "De Bruyne, my goodness Jeff, the world is going mad isn't it, you look at the amount of money they're paying for this boy is absolutely bonkers."
Jeff Stelling replied: "Chelsea paid £6.7million for him, Wolfsburg paid £18million in January of last year, and now we're talking about £54million." Phil Thompson added: "He's a good player, but is he a great player?"
Paul Merson added: "I didn't think he had it at Chelsea, he didn't have loads of chances, but he didn't look like part of the Chelsea way at the time.
"I think it was right of him to go. If you're buying someone and then selling them for a £10million profit, well it's a no brainer for me."
Merson continued: "I just don't see it, I just don't see £50million plus for this player, and this is someone who playing at the top club in England, Chelsea, and it didn't click."
