Richard Keys' take on the unsavoury post-match scenes that soured the North London derby clash between Tottenham and Arsenal have not gone down well on social media.
The former Sky Sports presenter has often called out Mikel Arteta during his time in the dugout – and now blamed his touchline actions for Aaron Ramsdale's back-and-forth with Spurs fans that ended in him being kicked.
Speaking on beIN SPORTS, Keys said of Arteta: "My fear is – and I've said it for a long time now, that the guy in the middle there is the one that's most to blame for the inflammatory behaviour on the touchline that winds people up.

"If he's not behaving himself then it's likely that others in his team are not going to either – who ultimately then becomes master of the discipline? There isn't anyone."
With the Premier League and Tottenham among those to condemn the fan who had climbed the advertising boards to get at the England international, Gunners fans and neutrals have defended Arteta.
One Twitter user wrote: "Mikel Arteta really does live rent free in Richard Keys’ head. It’s actually amusing from a neutral perspective because it’s so obvious."

As a second added: "When Richard Keys is crying – typically – Arsenal have done well."
A third questioned: "How is Richard Keys trying to blame Arteta for Ramsdale getting kicked??"
With a fourth saying: "Richard Keys has actually blamed Arteta for a Tottenham fan kicking Ramsdale"
Ramsdale said after the game that he had been involved in flak with the home supporters during the second-half, but said that most took it in good faith.
Back in November, Keys called on referees to 'do something' about the touchline behaviour of Arteta who is sometimes animated in guiding his team.
