Football fans have used a video game reference to describe the brilliance of Erling Haaland by saying he is now doing 'side quests'.
Viewers have joked that the Manchester City superstar has 'completed the main story' having scored 19 goals across his first 12 games for the club.
The 22-year-old was spotted helping referee Donatas Rumsas between his 27th and 28th goals on his 22nd Champions League appearances by returning his spray foam just a minute before finding the net for a second time.

While considering role-playing video games such as Fallout or Skyrim, one fan wrote: "The ref drops his spray foam and Haaland picks it up in the middle of the attack and quickly hands it back. He's doing side quests now."
With a second adding: "Story completion: 100%."
A third continued: "The fact that I don't have it in me to dislike this guy."
With a fourth agreeing: "Haaland is amazing. Sporting, courteous and exceptionally talented."

Haaland was in the box awaiting a cross just two seconds after returning the foam back to ref Rumsas of Lithuania, not getting distracted from his main purpose.
