Fulham vs Man Utd fans fume as Discovery+ app goes down

Manchester United and Fulham fans were fuming on Saturday after the Discovery+ app went down during the Premier League encounter between the two sides. United started the afternoon in eighth place in the top-flight table, with Fulham just three points behind them.

Manchester United had endured a dismal run of form ahead of their trip to Craven Cottage and went into the match after back-to-back 3-0 defeats against Manchester City and Newcastle respectively. And many football fans were eagerly anticipating their trip to Fulham to see if they could get back to winning ways.

However, as fans tuned into the Discovery+ app to watch the action, they were greeted by a message which said: “Something went wrong.” And the message included a website to log-on to for additional help.

And viewers weren’t happy. “Discovery plus app is shite,” wrote @gingerprince213 on X (formerly Twitter). Crashes every time I try to watch football.” Meanwhile, @Kev_Snowball penned: “#Discoveryplus app is woeful. Can’t watch the game and it seems it’s not just me having the issue.” And @liammjwhite sarcastically added: “Thanks @discoveryplus. Trying to watch #MUNFUL but you’re throwing errors up and I’m not the only one receiving it. Definitely worth paying the subscription fee!”

Another viewer @JackTow73789750 then revealed the same issue had happened before as he wrote: “@discoveryplus your app is broken… again. Will be ringing for a refund, this is pathetic. Same thing last week for the LFC vs Everton game.” And @M_BreezyFM warned: “The Discovery Plus app is absolutely woeful.”
