Gareth Southgate to roll in multi-million pound bonus if England win World Cup
Gareth Southgate will be beaming all the way to the bank if England win the World Cup, and it's easy to see why.
The Three Lions boss reportedly stands to land a whopping £4m if his team brings home the gold in Qatar, dwarfing the measly-by-comparison £1.5m he was promised if England triumphed out in Russia back in 2018.
A source told The Sun: "Gareth has been offered bonuses for each stage of the World Cup and stands to pocket a fortune if he brings home the trophy. It’s entirely normal that footballers and the management are incentivised.

"He is a proud Englishman and would love nothing more than to win a major trophy for the nation. His motivation is to ensure he and his team do their best for the country. Any money he earns along the way is incidental to that.
"He’s not financially driven and is very conscious of the cost of living crisis."
Southgate's £6m-a-year England deal runs until 2024, though many are predicting this to be his last tournament in charge, no matter how far his team gets in Qatar.
Who do you think should replace Gareth Southgate as England boss? Let us know in the comments section below.
The 52-year-old is now England's fourth-longest serving manager, and with the team's performances dipping over the past 12 months, there's a growing sense that he might have taken them as far he's ever going to.
Winning the World Cup would obviously be the ultimate way to go out, but Southgate's legacy is assured, with or without a trophy.
He's helped the public fall in love with its national team again and taken them further than they'd ever gone in the Euros, and if he does end up bringing up football home later this year, he'll have more than earned that £4m bonus.
