Pep Guardiola has been pictured receiving a parking fine in Manchester’s city centre on Sunday afternoon – just three months after being dealt a similar fine.

In August, Guardiola held a hilarious exchange with a traffic warden after being handed a parking ticket for leaving his car on a double yellow line.

This time round, however, there were less jokes involved as the Manchester City boss received his latest punishment on Sunday afternoon.

The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss was pictured out in Manchester’s city centre to do some holiday shopping.

However, when he returned, saw that he had been issued a £60 parking ticket for parking his car on a double yellow line for three hours.

Guardiola was seen stepping out of his electric Nissan before heading into tapas bar Tast Catala, which he owns, before heading out for some shopping.

Guardiola owns a Nissan Ariya – worth £46,000 – which boasts ‘zero tailpipe emissions, impressive range and advanced safety features’.

The City boss’ impressive vehicle is totally electric and also has ‘rapid charging which offers up to 217 Miles in around 30 minutes’.

It came just one day after Guardiola’s City side were held to a 1-1 draw with league rivals Liverpool – following goals from Erling Haaland and Trent Alexander-Arnold.

After the final whistle, Liverpool star Darwin Nunez and Guardiola were involved in a heated post-match spat at the Etihad on Saturday afternoon.

Immediately after the match, Guardiola and Jurgen Klopp were seen shaking hands following the draw.

But Nunez, 24, appeared to have been infuriated by City boss as he went over to the Spaniard – with the pair being involved in an animated exchange of words.

In August, Guardiola held a hilarious exchange with a traffic warden after being handed a parking ticket for leaving his car on a double yellow line.

As Guardiola walked back to his car in Manchester, a traffic warden handed him a ticket and proceeded to ask him for a photograph.

As captured on TikTok, the Man City manager joked in response: ‘You want a picture? You have to pay for the picture!’
