Manchester United captain Harry Maguire has been thanked for setting up a scheme to deliver groceries to the elderly in his hometown of Mosborough.
Maguire offered to supply food packages of everyday essentials in Mosborough, which is south-east of Sheffield.
Jackie Claydon tweeted Maguire saying: ‘Thank you so much for your very kind gesture to the older generation of Mosborough. My mum was very appreciative.’

Maguire grew up is Mosborough, which is in Sheffield. He started his career at Sheffield United before having spells with Hull City and Leicester.
The 27-year-old also revealed that he is in weekly discussions with Manchester United about the possibility of players taking wage cuts during the coronavirus crisis.
