  • Lionel Messi has played in some incredible venues, but there are few which compare to Atlanta United’s home-ground.

Messi has taken the United States by storm ever since he joined Inter Miami. He spearheaded Miami’s victorious Leagues Cup campaign by scoring ten goals in six matches, including a stunning, 25-yard effort in the final against Nashville.

But while the stakes will never be higher than his World Cup final victory in Qatar, Messi will strut his stuff within one of the craziest stadiums in world football.

As Messi’s MLS debut looms, Daily Star Sport takes a look inside one of masterpiece that is the Mercedes-Benz Arena.

    1. Out with the old and in with the new

The stadium replaced the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, that was demolished in 2017.
