Borussia Dortmund captain Marco Reus has advised Jadon Sancho to stay at the club for now rather than seeking a move to the Premier League.
The young forward has been in superb form this season, scoring 14 goals and creating 15 assists in the Bundesliga, and he has been linked with the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea.
Reus, however, thinks Sancho would be better off continuing his development at Dortmund rather than making a big-money transfer at this stage of his career.
Speaking to German publication Sport Bild Reus said: "Jadon is an outstanding player and will definitely remain in demand by many clubs. That is a fact.
"He's now playing at an even higher level than last year and would be extremely valuable in achieving our goals.
"I would advise him to stay at BVB for another year, maybe two. From my point of view, there is no better place for him at the moment.
"Afterwards, he can take the really big step as an even more complete player, having developed further in peace here as a regular starter."
Sancho started his career at Manchester City's academy but failed to make a senior appearance before moving to Germany, and Reus thinks there is a danger he would struggle to immediately adapt to the demands of a new side.
He added: "He would have to find his place at a new club, which isn't always easy for a 20-year-old.
