Newcastle record signing Joelinton faces internal disciplinary action after breaching Covid-19 protocols to get a haircut.
The £40million striker posted a picture on Instagram but later removed it when the club were alerted to its existence.
Steve Bruce’s squad were struck down by a mass Covid outbreak in November and several employees, including players Allan Saint-Maximin and Jamaal Lascelles, were badly affected.

Joelinton’s breach will now be dealt with by the club’s hierarchy.
A spokesman said: ‘We are disappointed by the image shared by Joelinton (getting haircut).
‘There are clear COVID-19 protocols in place and the club continues to guide and educate its players on their responsibilities.
‘The club will be taking appropriate action internally.’
Joelinton has scored three league goals in 54 appearances since his arrival in 2019.
