Juventus ‘are set to make Arsenal a HUGE offer to sign defender Gabriel Magalhaes this summer… with £25m, plus the permanent arrival of Adrien Rabiot and a loan deal for Arthur Melo on the table to tempt Gunners chiefs’
- Arsenal centre-back Gabriel Magalhaes is a long-term target of Juventus
- The Gunners are unlikely to sell, but the Serie A side could test their resolve
- Mikel Arteta has tried to sign Arthur Melo before and nearly got him in January
- Meanwhile, Adrien Rabiot has made it clear he want to leave Juve this summer
Juventus are reportedly lining up a blockbuster offer for Arsenal centre-back Gabriel Magalhaes as they desperately try to sign the Brazilian.
Matthijs de Ligt is expected to leave the Serie A side this summer and head to Bayern Munich, so Massimiliano Allegri is on the hunt for defensive reinforcements.
Having lost out to Chelsea in the race for Kalidou Koulibaly, he may turn his attentions to long-time target Gabriel.

But the Gunners will have no intention of selling the 24-year-old, who has become one of Mikel Arteta’s most important players since signing from Lille for £27million two years ago.
Gabriel made 35 Premier League appearances last season and contributed five goals too – only four players in the Arsenal squad scored more.
According to CalciomercatoWeb, Juve will test the Gunners’ resolve with a bid of £25.3million as well as offering up midfielder Adrian Rabiot and a loan deal for Arthur Melo.

The report adds that the Italian club hope that will prove enough compensation to match Arsenal’s price tag of £34million.
It is not the first time that Juventus have tried to offer Arthur as part of a swap deal to the north London club, as Calciomercato claimed last month that they included the midfielder in a bid for Gabriel Martinelli.
Arsenal have had a long-time interest in Arthur, 25, and have made attempts to sign him in the past.
‘In January he was close to leaving and joining Arsenal,’ Arthur’s agent, Federico Pastorello, told La Repubblica in May.

‘He is too important a player to be marginalised [at Juventus], he must also think about his situation with the national team. It’s not in anyone’s interest to continue in this situation.’
Meanwhile, Rabiot has made it clear he wants to leave Turin this summer and Juventus will feel this is an easy way to appease that wish.
The 27-year-old midfielder has been a regular at the club since he joined from PSG in 2019, but is said to want a new challenge.
