Kai Havertz to Chelsea: Bayer Leverkusen completing paperwork on £90m transfer

Kai Havertz is edging closer to joining Chelsea with Bayer Leverkusen completing the relevant paperwork for the transfer. The Germany international is set to join the Blues for a deal that could be worth up to £90million. 

The Bundesliga outfit are also working on a replacement for Havertz having set their sights on AS Roma forward Patrik Schick, according to journaist Fabrizio Romano.

Romano tweeted: “Bayer Leverkusen are completing paperworks for Kai Havertz to Chelsea and are now pushing to sign Patrik Schick from AS Roma (back from loan @ RB Leipzig).

“Talks on between the two clubs – also Fulham made an inquiry for Schick on last hours.”
