Harry Kane will be fined by Tottenham for his training no-show after their talisman did not report for pre-season training on Monday morning.
With the new Premier League season fast approaching, the England skipper was due back at Hotspur way to undergo a medical assetments and start pre-season but Kane was nowhere to be seen.
The 28-year-old believes he has a gentlemen's agreement with chairman Daniel Levy to leave N17 this summer as Kane looks to add trophies to his impressive collection of individual awards.
The obvious destination seems Manchester City; Pep Guardiola's men are in need of a striker having lost Sergio Aguero to Barcelona and are one of a few clubs who could afford Kane's transfer fee and wages.
The Citizens trophy collection over the past few seasons is unmatched with three Premier League titles, four EFL Cups and an FA Cup all in the cabinet since Guardiola took charge.
And while Kane hopes to force Spurs' hand by staying away to accelerate a transfer, it may have had the reverse effect.

The Manchester City hierarchy are said to have come up with a player plus cash offer of £100 million and a choice of player but this does not interest the Tottenham board.
The northwest club will need to fork out the full £160 million if they want to land their number one summer target; Levy does not want a City player included in the deal.
