Alexandre Lacazette says he never speaks to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang about his future because he doesn't want to annoy him with questions.
Aubameyang has just one year left to run on his Arsenal contract, and his future at the club is the subject of intense speculation.
Barcelona and Inter Milan have been linked with the Gabon international ahead of the summer transfer window, where Arsenal may be forced to cash in on Aubameyang or risk losing him for free the following season.
Lacazette is good friends with Aubameyang, but even he claims he has no idea what the forward has planned for his future.
The Frenchman does know that his strike partner is an important player for Arsenal, claiming he's already written his name into the club's history books.
"He is already one of the legends [at Arsenal] because of the amount of goals he's scored in so few games," Lacazette told beIN Sports.
"But to be honest, we stopped talking about this [his future] because at the beginning it can be funny.
"But long term you can start to be annoying because you want something that is not maybe the way we'd like and I don't want to be the guy being a bit annoying [by keep asking the same questions].
"So we don't really speak about his future. I'm just going to wait like everyone else. And I just hope he's going tell me before the press."
