They brought passion, fire, speed, directness and a lovely blue bucket to the Premier League last season.
But they will not be resting on their laurels as Marcelo Bielsa’s side are looking to add extra firepower to their exciting side.
United have already been busy in this summer’s window, signing Jack Harrison permanently while also adding Kristoffer Klaesson and promising Chelsea academy star Lewis Bate.
While the new signings will add much needed depth and energy to their squad, there is little sign their business is coming to a close.
Here we look at three other targets who could be heading to Elland Road…
Leeds eye Brazilian star
Talented Brazilian star Matheus Cunha is currently starring for his country in the Olympic Games.
The Samba stars remain on course for a second consecutive gold medal and Cunha has been one of the key players for Andre Jardine’s side, firing home two goals in four appearances in Tokyo.
He also enjoyed a very impressive season for Bundesliga side Hertha Berlin, contributing seven goals and six assists in 27 League appearances.
The good news for United is that Hertha have allegedly reduced their asking price slightly from £23 million, to £21.3million; however, the bad news is Leeds will have to compete with Monaco and Zenit St Petersburg for his signature.

Alioski replacement identified
After experienced left-back Ezgjan Alioski departed Elland Road for Saudi Arabian side AL Ahli, United are now in the hunt for a new left-back to replace him.
Talented youngster Josh Doig is reported to have been identified as a potential replacement for the North Macedonian international.
Doig who currently plays for Scottish Premiership side Hibernian was left out of Hibs’ matchday squad against with manager Jack Ross saying the 19-year-old’s exit is on the horizon.
It is believed a bid of around £4-5 million has been agreed with two clubs; suggesting a transfer tug of war could be on the cards – Leeds could be one of those clubs involved.
Bielsa's scouting mission
A report from Leeds Live has claimed Bielsa attended Huddersfield’s match against Sheffield Wednesday to watch Lewis O’Brien play.
The talented midfielder is one of the Terriers’ most promising youngsters but there are suggestions Leeds could be prepared to sign the youngster.
At 22-years-old, there is plenty of time for him to be developed and moulded by the legendary Argentinean manager.
With United appearing short in midfield options, it could be an astute signing by the Whites.
His tough tackling and intelligent displays impressed manager Carlos Corberan who described the youngster as “Fantastic”.
However, his quality will come at a price as it is believed Town would demand around £10 million for his signature.
