Leeds hero Klich gives middle finger to Cardiff fans during club farewell

Mateusz Klich brought the curtain down on his Leeds career in style (well, sort of) after flipping the bird at the away end inside Elland Road.

The Polish midfielder, who made just under 200 appearances for the Yorkshire club, agreed a move to MLS side DC United – managed by Wayne Rooney lest we forget – last week, and waved goodbye to fans ahead of their FA Cup clash with Cardiff on Wednesday night.

As he walked off the pitch he was spotted raising his middle finger at the Cardiff fans, but hilariously tried to disguise it by simultaneously scratching his head.

As you'd expect, Leeds fans absolutely loved what they saw, with one supporter branding him "the ultimate s***house".

"Mateusz Klich what a legend haha," tweeted one fan.

"The ultimate s***house. Perfect way to say goodbye," wrote another, while a third commented: "Klich keaving by flipping off the Cardiff fans. Love it."

Jesse Marsch's side registered their first win since early November after smashing Cardiff 5-2 to reach the fourth round of the FA Cup, where they'll face the winners of Boreham Wood and Accrington Stanley, whose third round replay was postponed on Tuesday due to an unplayable playing surface.

Rodrigo, Wilfried Gnonto and Patrick Bamford all got on the scoresheet, with the latter two bagging braces.
