Liverpool open to Pogba transfer after Utd star ‘offered’ – but not this summer

Liverpool could be open to a move for Manchester United's wantaway sensation Paul Pogba.

Pogba has been linked with a move away from the Red Devils this summer, and Parisian giants PSG have looked to be his most likely destination.

The Frenchman's contract is up next summer, and United are keen to extend the deal, but they are yet to reach an agreement.

United risk losing Pogba on a free transfer next summer, and they could sell on the cheap.

And French outlet Le10 Sport are claiming that Pogba has been offered to Liverpool by United, and the Reds are interested.

The report suggests that Pogba's super-agent, Mino Raiola, has offered the services of the 28-year-old to Jurgen Klopp's side this summer.

Liverpool reportedly informed Raiola that they weren't interested at the moment, however, they could move for the World Cup winner in January for a cut-price.

The Reds have already offloaded Gerogino Wijnaldum to PSG this summer, and they have been persistently linked to midfielder throughout the transfer window.

A move for Pogba would make sense for both sides by fixing Liverpool's midfield conundrum and allowing United to get some cash instead of risking losing him for a free next summer.
