Liverpool Premier League fixtures 2020/21 released in full as champions host Leeds on opening weekend

Liverpool will begin their Premier League title defence against Leeds United at Anfield after the complete fixture list for the 2020/21 season was confirmed.

Jurgen Klopp’s side powered to the title last season, with not even the coronavirus pandemic that forced the sport to be put on hold for three months preventing them from claiming a first Premier League triumph in 30 years.

That hiatus saw plenty of discussion over the season being abandoned and ruled null and void, but the Premier League’s ability to squeeze in a revamped schedule to complete the season saw Liverpool crowned champions after closest rivals Manchester City failed to beat Chelsea in June.

Klopp has been vocal in his determination to retain the title and leave a lasting legacy on Premier League history, and the German now knows how their path ahead will unfold.

The Reds welcome newly-promoted Leeds United to Anfield on the opening weekend with a trip to Frank Lampard’s Chelsea in week two.
