Liverpool might need to find a successor for Mohamed Salah next summer.

The Egypt forward has helped the club to Champions League and Premier League glory since joining the club from Roma, scoring 110 goals across a total of 173 appearances.

Despite his obvious success in the side, Salah refused to rule out a future move to either Barcelona or Real Madrid, which forced a coy response out of Jurgen Klopp.

Daily Star Sport have now looked into who the Reds could sign to replace the 28-year-old if his apparent wish to leave comes to fruition.

Jadon Sancho

Jadon Sancho is facing the first drop in form of his career at Borussia Dortmund following the recent dismissal of Lucien Favre.

The 20-year-old forward, who has scored 37 goals and posted 49 assists in 116 appearances for the club, has been heavily linked to Manchester United in recent months.

Although the England intentional is likely to cost in the region of £100m, Salah’s contract until June of 2023 leaves them in a good position should he force a move.

Ousmane Dembele

Jurgen Klopp has made no secret of his love for Ousmane Dembele in the past.

Although the French winger joined Dortmund after Klopp had left, his performances in Germany earned him a move to Barcelona where he has shown glimpse of his brilliance.

It is likely that Barcelona would be willing to sell Dembele should a substantial offer be made, and his ability to score and create will be of interest to potential suitors.

Adama Traore

Adama Traore has proved his ability in the Premier League in recent seasons at Wolves, but his goals and assists have dried up of late.

Despite that, it is likely that Champions League clubs would be interested in the Spain international should he fancy a new challenge.

Although he has been utilised in a more defensive role of late, playing him further forward could give him a fine platform to further his career.

Harvey Elliott

The cheapest option for Liverpool would be to promote Harvey Elliott.

The former Fulham youngster has been sent out on loan to Blackburn this season and has earned rave reviews from his manager following four goals in 16 appearances.

Klopp has also got large expectations for the 17-year-old, and his similar style of play to Salah could make him a perfect successor to Salah.
