Luka Jovic has reportedly told Manchester United he wants to join them – and Real Madrid will decide his future on Thursday.
Los Blancos splashed out £55million on the Serbian international from Eintracht Frankfurt last summer, but things haven't worked out for the forward.
Jovic netted just two goals in 27 appearances last season and is available on loan this month.
Roma and Inter Milan are among the team's queuing up to sign the 22-year-old, but the striker has his eye on a move to the Premier League.
According to the Daily Star, Jovic's agent has informed Real Madrid that his client wants to join Manchester United on loan for the season.

Real boss Zinedine Zidane is confident Jovic can still come good in Spain, and is keen to retain his services long-term.
But for the time being he is open to the young forward heading to the Premier League for a season to play regular football and improve his game.
Manchester United are becoming increasingly desperate to add some firepower before the window slams shut on October 5.
The Red Devils have only signed Donny van de Beek in midfielder so far this summer but have been linked with a host of attacking players.
Jadon Sancho is number one on the club's transfer wishlist, but United are unwilling to pay the Dortmund star's £108m price tag.
Barcelona forward Ousmane Dembele is another man on the club's radar as he has fallen down the pecking order at the Camp Nou.
The Frenchman would also be considerably cheaper than Sancho.
