Manchester City are reportedly willing to base their midfield revamp around Jude Bellingham next summer – but will wait on the futures of Ilkay Gundogan and Bernardo Silva first before deciding how much to invest.

Gundogan’s contract at the club ends this summer – while Silva’s deal runs until 2025, but the Portguese star has been strongly linked with an exit.

If Man City do face an overhaul in midfield, Bellingham – who is rated at £120m – is the man they want to lead them into the future as they look to convince him to join the Etihad over Liverpool and Real Madrid.
However, the 19-year-old remains Liverpool’s key target and both English clubs will have to fight the might of Real Madrid, who reportedly lead the race for his signature.
Borussia Dortmund expect the highly sought-after midfielder to decide his future in the coming weeks, according to 90min.
