Manchester United fans are calling for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to be sacked for leaving Cristiano Ronaldo on the bench against Everton.
Solskjaer is coming under increasing pressure following a series of poor results and bizarre decisions.
Ronaldo's late winner against Villarreal in the Champions League on Wednesday had eased the pressure on the Norwegian.
But now the spotlight is back on him after the bold call to leave the Portuguese on the bench for the Saturday lunchtime kick-off.
Paul Pogba, Jadon Sancho and Alex Telles also dropped to the bench and Diogo Dalot did not even make the squad, but supporters are most furious about the decision to omit Ronaldo from the starting XI.
One fan said: "This lineup alone should be enough to get Ole sacked. Get Conte in, then we start the season from there."
Someone else added: "@Cristiano on the bench??? Solskjaer is actually clueless!!"
A third person commented: "Starting to think that #solskjaer wants the sack! Why on earth is #martial starting!!!"
Another supporter groaned: "Ole definitely has a sack wish. No other explanation for this madness."
"I used to think Mourinho was the enemy of football. With this selection, blimey!! Ole is the enemy. This bloke is begging for the sack," added another unhappy Twitter user.

Ronaldo had started every Premier League and Champions League match for United since his return from Juventus, prior to Saturday's match with Everton.
Solskjaer explained his decision before the match.
"Well Wednesday night was a big effort, a big emotional and physical output," he said.
"So we needed to freshen it up. When it’s an early kick off the start of this game is going to be important and we’ve got some very good players coming on as well.
"It’s a team we think is going to take charge of the game."
