Manchester United fans are unhappy with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after refusing to rest Bruno Fernandes.

The Red Devils take on Sheffield United at Brammall Lane and are expected to make light work of the Blades.

Chris Wilder is under serious pressure after the worst-ever start from a Premier League team.

After 12 matches, Sheffield United have just one point, losing 11 and tonight is expected to be a continuation of their woes.

The Red Devils, on the other hand, have had to deal with their own pressure.

Solskjaer's side are remarkably on the cusp of going fifth tonight despite the furore over their form.

And if they win both their games in hand, they will be two points behind league leaders Liverpool.

But they face a number of fixtures over the coming days and fans were keen to see Fernandes be given a well-earned rest.

They also bemoan the continued ostracisation of Donny van de Beek, who only makes the bench once again.

One fan said: "Bruno should have gotten the day off. If we completely fall apart because one player is out of the lineup, then our manager needs to go.

"VDB should be more than good enough to start against a team that’s bottom of the league with 1 point."

Another said: "Wish the players that actually needed rest were rested lol.

"One of Maguire/Lindelof, Bruno and Rashford all deserve rest."

And this fan wrote: "The season is a long one and playing our best player into the ground is a short term decision.

"If he gets injured like Rashford did when the same happened to him we'll be in the mud."

A fourth said: "Fernandes need rest. No wonder we only get to semi finals and crash out."

"Damn was hoping Bruno would get a complete rest," this fan posted.
