Chelsea have already spent over £200million this summer in a bid to close the gap to Liverpool and Manchester City.
Attackers Hakim Ziyech, Timo Werner and Kai Havertz will provide Frank Lampard with some much-needed extra firepower.
Thiago Silva and Ben Chilwell have also arrived to fix the Blues’ defensive issues.
Talks are ongoing with Rennes for goalkeeper Edouard Mendy, who Lampard wants to challenge Kepa Arrizabalaga for a starting spot.
After that deal is completed the west Londoners are expected to hunt for the final piece of their jigsaw – West Ham ace Declan Rice.

However, Chelsea do not have a bottomless transfer kitty so they must offload some players to make room in the budget.
One of those who could be moved on is two-time Premier League winner Kante, according to Italian publication Tuttosport.
Inter boss Antonio Conte wants to be reunited with the French World Cup winner at the San Siro.
But he has apparently learned of United’s intent to try and take the 29-year-old to Old Trafford to partner him with his international team-mate Paul Pogba.

Tuttosport claims Kante is available for £54m – but a discount would be applied if Chelsea sign Rice.
West Ham rejected an initial bid from their London rivals earlier this summer and are thought to be holding out for around £80m.
If Chelsea put together a package to capture the England international it will increase the pressure to sell players.
That could reduce their asking price for Kante to around £45m, which is a more realistic target for Inter to meet.

Chelsea would be more open to striking a deal with the Serie A club over a Premier League rival.
Inter are trying to sell midfielder Marcelo Brozovic for around a similar fee and will use that income to pay for Kante.
But there are still fears that United will try to hijack the deal.
