Jadon Sancho twist
Borussia Dortmund are confident Jadon Sancho will snub Manchester United and stay at the club this summer.
United have been interested in signing Sancho for a long time as manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sees him as the perfect type of player that will help him turn the squad into Premier League contenders.
According to Sky Sports, however, Dortmund expect the talented winger to stay put and spend next season at the Westfalenstadion.
But a source close to the 20-year-old claims that a departure from the Bundesliga giants is still possible as he is unlikely to extend his contract, which runs out in 2022.
Ed Woodward makes Paul Pogba decision
Manchester United are open to agreeing a swap deal with Juventus for Paul Pogba in the summer transfer window. Ed Woodward has also lowered his asking price in case Juventus buy Pogba outright.
The France international has hinted he’s open to a move at the end of the season.
Juventus, Real Madrid and PSG are all eyeing the midfielder, while Inter Milan have also been credited with interest in the World Cup winner.
United are aware the coronavirus pandemic will affect the summer transfer window, with clubs unlikely to pay large fees.
And according to Italian newspaper Tuttosport, United are willing to agree a swap deal with Juventus involving Pogba.
The Red Devils are said to be eyeing former Arsenal star Aaron Ramsey and Adrien Rabiot.
Either player could be used in a player-plus-cash deal to entice United to sell Pogba.
Tuttosport also add that Woodward has lowered his asking price for Pogba from £150m to £100m due to the coronavirus outbreak.
Transfer target learning English
Manchester United and Chelsea transfer target Federico Chiesa is reportedly learning English in preparation for a potential move to the Premier League.
Fiorentina director general Joe Barone recently revealed that a number of clubs are monitoring La Viola’s star winger and the latest development suggests a transfer could be on the horizon.
Seven goals and five assists in all competitions this term has put the winger on the radar of several European clubs, with United and Chelsea thought to be leading the chase.
And the Daily Mail report that Chiesa is taking English lessons in order to avoid being caught unprepared in the instance of a move to the UK.
