Man Utd outcast Jadon Sancho may be denied dream transfer escape by Paul Pogba

Jadon Sancho looks set to leave Manchester United in the January transfer window, calling quits on his Old Trafford career after less than three years. But the 23-year-old winger’s attractive options appear to be thin, with Juventus the latest reported suitors whose interest is under threat of failing to materialise.
Sancho seems to be down and out at United. Even if he apologises to Erik ten Hag for effectively calling him a liar on social media in September, that ship may have already sailed.
Ten Hag is said to have doubts over whether a Sancho apology almost two months after the incident would be truly sincere, leaving their relationship in a state of disrepair.
It has pointed attention to January when United are expected to attempt to offload their No 25 and end the long-winding saga once and for all.
But three European heavyweights reportedly interested in loaning Sancho for the rest of the season are considered doubtful destinations.
According to Sky Germany, Sancho intends to escape Old Trafford in January, with a return to an overseas club his preference.
But an attractive switch to Barcelona or a second spell at Borussia Dortmund are currently said to be unrealistic propositions.

The report claims that Juventus are also in the frame and are firmly considering a swoop to sign Sancho on loan.
However, Fabrizio Romano has countered those suggestions, describing a January move to Turin as unlikely.
Romano states that Juventus will focus on midfield reinforcements midway through the season after losing Nicolo Fagioli to a long-term suspension, and with Pogba at risk of joining him.
Pogba was provisionally suspended in September for testing positive for testosterone after Juventus’ 3-0 win against Udinese to start their Serie A season.
The towering midfielder’s agent, Rafaela Pimenta, said: “Paul never wanted to break the rules.”

The French World Cup winner now faces a lengthy ban from football, though he has yet to be charged, with four years the most severe in such cases.
Fagioli is serving a seven-month suspension for placing bets on illegal websites, claiming he was introduced by Italy teammate and Newcastle United midfielder Sandro Tonali.
Juventus – third in Serie A, two points behind leaders Inter Milan – now need reinforcements. Sancho may have to look elsewhere if that is their priority in January.
