Man Utd team, suspension and injury news ahead of Europa League clash vs Roma

Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could call up three youngsters for Thursday's Europa League semi-final against Roma.

The Red Devils welcome Serie A side Roma to Old Trafford in the final four clash on Thursday night.

Having been knocked out at this stage last year, Solskjaer is desperate to take his United side to the next step.

United go into the match off the back of a goalless draw with Leeds on Sunday.

The game ended without any major injury concerns, though Paul Pogba was left out of the starting XI.

The Frenchman came on, as did Edinson Cavani, as both continue to recover from injuries.

The two are set to be involved in some way against Roma, having taken part in training this week.

It remains likely that they'll have to be re-assessed later in the week.

Elsewhere, Marcus Rashford is being "treated carefully" according to the club's official website.

Rashford is still struggling with an ankle injury, but played 85 minutes at Elland Road.

As a result, his situation is a relative unknown ahead of the Roma tie, though it's likely Solskjaer will clarify his condition at his press conference.

Anthony Martial and Phil Jones are still unavailable, with both struggling from injuries.

The French striker could miss the rest of the season after suffering a knee injury while on international duty last month.

United will, however, have Harry Maguire, Luke Shaw and Scott McTominay available after the trio served one-match bans against Granada in the previous round.

Youngsters Shola Shoretire, Amad and Anthony Elanga were all seen training this week and could be involved.
