Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his Manchester United side have one Premier League game left this season and with it comes the chance of securing Champions League football.
The pressure is on the Norwegian to deliver a top-four spot and, if he is successful, it will swell the club’s purse considerably.
In addition, a place at Europe's top table next season would drastically change the calibre of players available to United this summer.
The club's recruitment team are already lining up potential targets under Solskjaer's watch, and with that in mind, here at the latest Man Utd transfer rumours.
United planning swoop for Napoli target
Manchester United are looking to beat Napoli to the signing of Lille centre-back Gabriel Magalhaes, according to Le10Sport .
Gabriel, 22, was in fine form for Lille last term and the Italian club had been working on a deal for the Brazilian estimated to be in the region of €25million.
His Lille teammate Victor Osimhen has already agreed to an €80million switch, and it was expected the Brazilian would join him in Naples.
Now, the French outlet reports the Red Devils are keen to snap up the defender in an attempt to boost their options at the back.
This story comes in the wake of a report by the Daily Record in which it was claimed United had asked Lille to be kept informed of the defender’s situation ahead of making a potential move for him.
Inter and United 'close to completing swap deal'
Ivan Perisic will be moving to Old Trafford this summer in exchange for Alexis Sanchez, according to Fichajes.com.
The Croatian has been on loan at Bayern Munich this term while Sanchez returned to Serie A last summer with Inter.
The Chilean has no future at Old Trafford with the club desperate to get rid of his considerable wages. United have long been linked to Perisic and it would seem they will finally get their man.
Bayern pour cold water on Coman speculation
Bayern Munich will resist attempts from Manchester United to sign Kingsley Coman this summer, according to Sky Germany.
The former Juventus winger is seen as a cheaper alternative to Borussia Dortmund star Jadon Sancho, who will likely cost over £100million. Coman has slipped down the pecking order at Bayern and may be open to a move to Old Trafford in the future.
The arrival of Leroy Sane from Manchester City has further complicated his situation, but according to the report the German giants have no interest in doing a deal for Coman.
