Manchester United supremo John Murtough is looking to sign more players for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer now Euro 2020 is over. Jadon Sancho and Tom Heaton have already arrived, although the former is yet to be confirmed. So Express Sport will now take a look at four deals the Red Devils can now work on.
Let’s start with the obvious.
Unless you’ve been living it outer space, you’d likely already know that United are determined to sign Raphael Varane from Real Madrid.
The latest noises suggest it’s on. That it will happen. That, 10 years after Sir Alex Ferguson first tried, the France international will finally make the move.
United are ready to meet Varane’s salary demands, while a fee with Real Madrid isn’t a sticking point.
So out of all the players linked with the club, and there are many, this deal could very well happen.

United are big admirers of Declan Rice.
However, with West Ham determined to bank a fee of £100million in order to part ways with their prized asset, the Red Devils are eyeing Eduardo Camavinga instead.
Camavinga has just one year left on his Rennes contract and, given how many top clubs admire him, a renewal appears unlikely.
Paris Saint-Germain appear to be his preferred next destination.
But United fancy their chances and there’s certainly a chance Camavinga will move to the Theatre of Dreams.

England have four heroes rise up in Denmark win
United have already had one bid for Kieran Trippier turned down.
But if there’s money in the pot towards the end of the transfer window, then it’s possible they’ll go back in for the England international.
United saw Luke Shaw shine following the arrival of Alex Telles 12 months ago and they’re keen for Aaron Wan-Bissaka to have more competition in order to evolve.
Trippier is open to moving to Manchester.
And his arrival would definitely give the Red Devils more strength in depth going forward as they look to win the title next time out.
As mentioned above, United want Varane.
But they also want another centre-back, too, especially with Eric Bailly emerging as a transfer target for Villarreal.
And Pau Torres could consequently be pursued, with Solskjaer and his coaching staff big admirers of the Spain international.
Torres won’t come cheap.
But, by including Bailly in a swap deal, the Red Devils stand a chance of bringing the player to the club.
Solskjaer reacts to summer so far
Solskjaer recently opened up on the club’s deal for Heaton, admitting he was delighted to welcome the veteran back to United 11 years after he left.
“Tom is a Manchester United player,” he said.
“He’s been here and felt this is coming home and closing the circle. He’s had a very, very good career so far and been a part of the England set-up.
“For him to come in now, taking his challenge, I think is what he needed, that last step now.
“He’s such a top professional and such a top guy to have around and that will help the young lads.”
