Manchester United target Facundo Pellistri has been warned he will “really suffer” in the Premier League. Penarol youngster Pellistri has reportedly passed his medical ahead of a move to Old Trafford. The 18-year-old Uruguayan winger had attracted interest from the likes of Chelsea and Arsenal earlier this year.
But it is United who appear to have won the race to his signature.
But South American football expert Tim Vickery is worried Pellistri is moving to United at the wrong time.
Vickery says Pellistri is nowhere near ready to play in the Premier League.
“He’s a teenage, Uruguayan playmaker, lovely balance, very fluid, bright, sees things,” Vickery told Sky Sports News.

“He’s a real talent, he’s won for the long term, I hope that my fears aren’t justified that this isn’t the wrong move to the wrong club at the wrong time.”
United suffered a humiliating 6-1 home loss to Tottenham at Old Trafford on Sunday.
But manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was not giving anything away in terms of new signings.
“Well, we’ll probably update you or we’ll know by tomorrow night when the window’s closed, but that [today’s performance] isn’t about getting players in,” Solskjaer said.
“This is about who’s here and getting the best out of the ones who are here and today was the worst that you can get from these.
“I can’t say anything other than that.”
United are set to announce the arrivals of Edinson Cavani and Alex Telles.
They are also close to completing a deal for Atalanta winger Amad Traore.
