Manchester United handed Matthijs de Ligt boost
Manchester United have an advantage over Real Madrid in the chase for Juventus defender Matthijs de Ligt.
According to The Sun, the former Ajax ace prefers a move to the Premier Leaguer over La Liga because it is closer to Amsterdam.
De Ligt has been linked with a switch to Old Trafford as part of a swap deal involving Paul Pogba.
The World Cup winner has one year left on his contract and would fancy a return to Juventus.
Liverpool eye Borussia Monchengladbach duo
Liverpool are lining up a double raid on Borussia Monchengladbach for highly-rated duo Denis Zakaria and Marcus Thuram that could be worth up to £88million, according to Express.
The pair have both been shining lights for Marco Rose’s side, who sit fourth in the Bundesliga, having led the table earlier in the season.
Manchester United and Tottenham are also interested in Zakaria, who is a regular in midfield for Switzerland.
Thuram, the son of former France international Lilian, has 10 goals in 33 appearances and would appear to be an alternative target to RB Leipzig’s Timo Werner.
Arsenal confident of Ryan Fraser transfer
Arsenal are confident of completing the signing of Ryan Fraser, according to TEAMtalk.
The Bournemouth winger is out of contract on July 1 and the Gunners believe they are leading the race for his signature.
Arsenal are likely to be beaten by Tottenham in the race for Willian so will go all in for Fraser.
A move to the Emirates Stadium for the Scotland international was mooted last summer and his disappointing form this term appears not to have put them off.
