Istanbul Basaksehir’s opening goal against Manchester United shows all the problems Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has with his defence.
Former Chelsea star Demba Ba put the hosts ahead in Turkey having had the whole United half to himself.
Just one long ball was all it took for Ba to be freed with the striker running through and slotting coolly past Dean Henderson in the Red Devils goal.
And a picture took just as the pass was made shows the frailties in the United back-line with not a soul near Ba.
Nemanja Matic was the closest to the ex-Newcastle man, though he was still seen at least ten yards away.
Solskjaer will be left wondering exactly where his central defensive pairing of Harry Maguire and Axel Tuanzebe were.
While the boss will also be scratching his head over the whereabouts of Luke Shaw and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
United fans were left raging at the sloppy defending with Basaksehir doubling their lead later in the first half.
On the opening goal, Dion Dublin told BBC Radio 5 Live: “That is absolutely embarrassing from Manchester United.
Paul Scholes identifies Man Utd tactical change that leaves them suffering long-term
“Great finish, nice and cool but the nearest player is Matic. Where have the two centre halves gone? Demba Ba is no joke.
“It is lack of organisation, lack of leadership. One on one with the keeper from the half way line.
“For the home side's second, Man Utd have been completely bullied. The pressure on the ball was perfect. Matic has been bullied, Maguire has been done with a dummy.”
