Manchester United are ready to make Jadon Sancho the best-paid player at Old Trafford by giving the Borussia Dortmund star a huge £400,000-a-week, according to reports. The England international is expected to leave the Westfalenstadion when the transfer window reopens having spent the last three years terrorising Bundesliga defences.
Manchester United are hopeful Sancho will be theirs come the end of the summer transfer window, despite Liverpool and Chelsea also being admirers of the Borussia Dortmund star.
The 20-year-old has enjoyed a remarkable campaign over in Germany, scoring 14 goals and clocking up 15 assists in the league alone so far.
United are ready to pay £120million in order to secure the signing of the England international, who has been strutting his stuff in Europe ever since his 2017 exit from Manchester City.
And the Irish Independent say the Red Devils are also prepared to pay the youngster a massive £400,000-a-week in order to secure his signature.
That could be the ticket to securing Sancho’s signing.
United have the financial might to afford any player on the planet and, this summer, it appears they’re ready to go gung-ho.

Sancho would immediately become the highest-earner inside the dressing room were that to happen.
David De Gea currently tops of the wage earnings at Old Trafford, with the Spain international earning £375,000-a-week.
Alexis Sanchez also earns close to that number, although there’s uncertainty over what the actual figure is.
Paul Pogba pockets £290,000 each week, with Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford both on a weekly wage of £250,000 and £200,000 respectively.
And Harry Maguire is another big earner at United, taking home £189,000 every seven days.

Meanwhile, while Liverpool and Chelsea both want Sancho, Barcelona have been backed to enter the race for the 20-year-old’s signature by club legend Xavi.
And that’s because he feels it will be tricky for his old side to re-sign Neymar, who is their leading target.
“I would sign wingers. Players like Neymar – I don’t know if he would fit because of the social aspect,” he told La Vanguardia.
“In a football sense I have no doubts he would be a spectacular signing.
“Barcelona have good players through the middle but they lack wingers like the ones Bayern have.
“They don’t need a lot of new players: Jadon Sancho, Serge Gnabry.”
Sancho isn’t the only player United are eyeing ahead of the summer transfer window.
Jack Grealish has earned a slot on the Red Devils’ list of targets having impressed for Aston Villa this season.
Jude Bellingham, the 16-year-old Birmingham City teenager, is also being lined up.
And, more recently, it’s been suggested United are ready to pay a massive £135m in order to sign Saul Niguez from Atletico Madrid.
