Manchester United’s under-performing stars appear to be taking contrasting approaches to pre-season ahead of the start of a new era under Erik ten Hag.
United’s players who did not feature in the recent round of international matches are due back at Carrington on June 27.
But Ten Hag will be unable to have his full squad at his disposal until early next month prior to their first pre-season fixture, the clash with Liverpool in Bangkok on July 12.

Some have posted pictures of themselves working on their individual fitness regimes as they gear up for the new campaign.
Marcus Rashford has jetted off to the United States for a 10-day training camp, while Anthony Martial – whose future at Old Trafford remains uncertain – has been hitting the gym.
Bruno Fernandes, Jadon Sancho and Amad Diallo, United’s £37million signing who spent the last campaign on loan at Rangers, have also been seen working on their fitness.
Raphael Varane, who joined the club last summer, is among the United players to have posted pictures of themselves relaxing in the off-season.

Fred, meanwhile, has been enjoying himself with a session of karaoke while on holiday, in stark contrast to some of his team-mates.
The players are preparing for a new season which begins with the Premier League match against Brighton at Old Trafford on August 7.
United then travel to Brentford before a home clash with Liverpool. Ten Hag’s team have a tricky October, which includes trips to Chelsea and Manchester City and a home encounter with top-four rivals Tottenham.
Ten Hag is facing a gruelling pre-season schedule as United are set to travel nearly 23,000 miles before the campaign opens.
Following the match with Liverpool in Thailand, United head to Australia for games against Melbourne Victory, Crystal Palace and Aston Villa, before they play Atletico Madrid in Oslo a day before welcoming Rayo Vallecano to Old Trafford.
Jadon Sancho appears to have been training in full United kit as the new season nears
Ahead of pre-season, Ten Hag has reportedly requested a comprehensive profile of every member of his Manchester United squad before meeting them personally – even wanting to know where they have headed on their summer breaks.
Their Instagram stories will surely be studied, too, with the new boss likely to be across their posts to see who has been posting what ahead of the season.
The Dutchman built a reputation in Ajax for a meticulous style of management and is already looking to stamp down his authority at Old Trafford.
