Arsenal star Mohamed Elneny has revealed all on the team talk that helped to inspire him and his team-mates to glory against Manchester United on Sunday.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s penalty was the only goal of the game as the Gunners secured a first win at Old Trafford in 14 years.
United came into the clash off the back of some impressive victories themselves, but Mikel Arteta’s side were too good for the Red Devils.
And Elneny insists that at no point were the Arsenal players not worried about scoring because they’d discussed their game plan clearly before kick off.
"It feels really amazing, I feel really happy," Elneny said. "It is special to win against Manchester United here.
"We know it is a long time since we won here. We gave 100 per cent and everyone worked really hard for it. We know how special it is for us, that’s why we gave everything to win this game.
"No [we weren't concerned about not scoring in the first half] because we spoke and said we have to keep on our game, even if we miss.
"We knew we were going to score because our shape was really good today and everyone just gave 100 per cent. We created more chances to score. But we didn’t worry, we knew we were going to win this game."
Meanwhile, Arteta insists that his side deserved the win after sticking to his game plan expertly.
“Absolutely, I think we merited the points,” the Spaniard said. “I’m really happy that after 14 years without a win, we were able to come and do what we've done today.

“As well I asked the players, 'Please, let's be who we are and play with our identity and our style'.
