Jose Mourinho has identified five transfer targets as he prepares for a summer rebuild at Tottenham.
Spurs recovered from a disastrous start to the campaign which saw Mauricio Pochettino sacked in November with the club 14th to finish sixth and enter next season's Europa League.
With the team plagued by injuries throughout the season and with long-serving centre-back Jan Vertonghen departing, Mourinho is hoping to build what he described as a "more balanced" squad.
But with Spurs facing repayments on their £1.2billion stadium and a revenue hit of £200million due to coronavirus, free transfers, loan deals and part-exchanges are more likely than big-money moves.
And Mourinho has assembled a wish list of five suitable targets heading into the summer window, according to the Evening Standard.
Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is a priority target and the Southampton midfielder is expected to be available at a lower asking price as he enters the final year of his deal with the Saints.
Elsewhere, Spurs have enquired about Beijing Sinobo Guoan defender Kim Min-jae. The 6'3" centre-back is rated at £15million and lines up for South Korea alongside Tottenham star Son Heung-min.
Mourinho is also targeting a new right-back, with Atalanta's Timothy Castagne keen on the move to north London.
A back-up for striker Harry Kane is also a priority for recruitment and Spurs are monitoring Bournemouth duo Callum Wilson and David Brooks.
Both stars could be available at a cut-price in light of the Cherries' relegation from the Premier League on Sunday.
Spurs' summer plans could be put on hold if Arsenal win this Saturday's FA Cup final against Chelsea, as the Gunners would enter the group stages of the Europa League and leave Mourinho's side in the qualifying stages.
Tottenham would need to take part in a play-off on 17 September to ensure their place in the group stages, meaning their summer spending may have to wait until after the Premier League season starts five days earlier.
