Neville trolls Grealish for striking outfit worn while watching Aston Villa

Jack Grealish was spotted wearing an eye-catching tracksuit in the stands as Aston Villa slumped to a 2-0 defeat against Tottenham – and it’s fair to say Gary Neville wasn’t a fan.

Grealish could only watch on from the sidelines as his team-mates suffered their 11th loss of the season, with goals from Carlos Vinicius and Harry Kane proving the difference at Villa Park.

The England ace has missed Villa’s last six matches with a knee injury he sustained against Leicester last month and is expected to return after next week’s international break.

During the defeat at home to Spurs, Sky Sports cameras picked him out watching on in the stands.

Grealish was donning a striking white tracksuit covered in Nike ticks from top to bottom, along with a matching white beanie hat and a black and gold Gucci coat.

When the 25-year-old was spotted, Neville, who was on commentary duty for Sky Sports, let out an initial: “Oooooh.”

He then added: “I wouldn’t be wearing that in Bolton!”

Villa boss Dean Smith will be desperate for Grealish to return to action after the international break, with his side only winning once in five outings since he picked up his injury at Leicester.

Smith has been left disappointed by his team’s failure to step up in Grealish’s absence, saying in his post-match interview: “Mistakes [cost us against Spurs]. I thought we started well and were the better team in the first 30 minutes.
