Phil Neville might be proved right over his prediction on Paul Pogba following Manchester United's win over Wolves on Tuesday night.
The Red Devils went second in the Premier League after a 1-0 win over Nuno Espirito Santo's men.
And it came about right at the death, with Marcus Rashford scoring with seconds left to end the year with three points.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer dropped his trusted midfield duo of Scott McTominay and Fred for Pogba and Nemanja Matic.
The gamble paid off, with Pogba proving working well with Bruno Fernandes ahead of him.
It marks a mini-revival from the World Cup winner – who earlier in the season could not get a look-in as Solskjaer preferred other midfielders.
It even sparked comments from Pogba's controversial agent, Mino Raiola, stating that his client wants to leave the club.
This is not the first time such comments have been made.
But this time, it seems to have reignited Pogba – who has performed well since those comments were made last month.
And ex-United star Neville reckons the Frenchman could lead his former club to Premier League glory this season.
"When they played Leipzig his agent came out and said he wanted to leave but since then I have seen the best of Paul Pogba," Neville said on Amazon Prime before the game with Wolves.
"I have got to say I prefer watching Manchester United when he is playing because he gives them something that might take them on the way to the title. He is a world class player."
However, Rashford has rebuked Neville's claims that the Red Devils can mount a title challenge as "stupid".
"We can't look too far ahead," Rashford told Amazon Prime.
"We are a team that is still doing a lot of work on ourselves and to be looking at the table so early on in the season is a bit stupid of us.
"We have to take it one game at a time and if we can keep finding ways to win like this we will see where we are at the end of the season."
