Xavier Mbuyamba, who has been dubbed the 'new Virgil van Dijk', has confirmed his Chelsea transfer with a message on Instagram.
Posting an image of himself holding a Chelsea shirt with his name on the back, the Dutch centre-back wrote: "Very happy to announce that I'm a blue now.
"Ready to work hard and make the club proud."
Mbuyamba has put pen to paper on a three year deal at Stamford Bridge.
The 18-year-old is Chelsea manager Frank Lampard's third signing of the summer window after the Blues snapped up Hakim Ziyech from Ajax and Timo Werner from RB Leipzig.

Standing at a towering 6'5", Mbuyamba took the unusual route to stardom by failing to catch the eye of either PSV or Ajax and coming through the ranks at MVV Masstricht.
He also never earned a call-up to represent his nation as a schoolboy.
"It is strange that they [Ajax, PSV] never came, but the same applies to the KNVB," the Dutchmand told RTL, reflecting on his career to this point.
"I was called up for the first time [to the Under-19s squad] in November 2019.
"The staff immediately said that they thought it strange that I had never been noticed before."
After representing MVV Masstricht in the second division, Mbuyamba joined Barcelona's La Masia academy in 2019.
But this summer he cancelled his contract, and has now joined Chelsea.
