Nottingham Forest are in talks over a deal for Fenerbahce striker Michy Batshuayi.

The 29-year-old almost joined Forest a year ago from Chelsea on a complicated free transfer only for the deal to fall through late on deadline day.

He moved to Turkey for £3million but Forest have maintained their interest.

Although his time in England with Chelsea and on loan at Crystal Palace was not viewed as a success, the Belgium international scored 20 goals for Fenerbahce last season and has scored two so far this term.

He has one year left on contract with an option for another and Fenerbahce are looking for around £8m.
