Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has told his Manchester United stars to forget about getting too big for their boots.
United can hit the top of the Premier League table with a draw or win against Burnley at Turf Moor tomorrow night.
The fallen giants have not challenged for the title since Sir Alex Ferguson retired in 2013 and have only finished in the top four three times.
But Solskjaer's men have put together a 10-game unbeaten run in the league and been one of the form sides over the Festive period.
United need at least a point from the game against the Clarets to leapfrog bitter rivals and current champions Liverpool at the top.
But Solskjaer will not allow his players to let the achievement go to their heads should it happen and wants them to remain aggressive when it comes to picking up wins.
Solskjaer knows his side could go from being one of the hunters to the hunted and he said: "We have to be aggressive and go into the games being humble – don't think we have cracked it if we are near the top.
"That's not the type of players we have. We need to be hard to play against no matter what, but the group mentality is improving all the time.
"Now it's a different challenge, we are in this position, we have to focus on this game and this game only."
Solskjaer is looking forward to welcoming back Edinson Cavani from his three match ban and he added: "Edinson has trained well when he's been banned.
"He's ready to go and is a different option. I'm glad to have him back. He's contributed really well and will be really important. His season starts tomorrow night."
