Oleksandr Zinchenko had Arsenal fans drooling with a masterful first touch and turn away from Manchester United ace Antony.

The Ukrainian’s arrival at the Emirates Stadium initially raised eyebrows, but the classy defender has been firing on all cylinders since his £32million move from Manchester City. He has waltzed into Mikel Arteta’s backline and made the left back position his own, displacing the experienced Kieran Tierney in the process.

And Zinchenko demonstrated why he has become such an integral part of the north Londoners defence with a wonderful piece of footwork. The 25-year-old caressed a high, looping ball that may have come back down with snow on it, before zipping away from the onrushing Antony.

And if the first touch and turn was not already impressive, Antony provided the cherry on the top by falling over onto his backside. It is safe to say, the Arsenal faithful loved Zinchenko's piece of skill.

However, the former Manchester City ace did nearly undo all of his good work as he cut inside and ran into three Manchester United shirts. Fortunately, he was just about able to recycle the ball and maintain possession.

"Sorry did you see that touch from Zinchenko? TEKKED OUT," one Arsenal fan wrote on Twitter. "Stop that Zinchenko," another wrote alongside a flame and love heart emoji.

"Antony already spinning lol' another Gunners posted, poking fun at United's £84m man. "At least he made a turn….the Antony turn they said" another north Londoner pointed out.

Unfortunately for the Gunners, they were not laughing for very long as Antony went on to give Erik ten Hag’s side the lead. He latched onto a very clever pass from Marcus Rashford and slotted the ball home into the bottom corner for his first United goal.

Zinchenko’s neat bit of ball control and turn was the highpoint of a very frustrating half of football for Arteta’s side. They thought they had the lead when Gabriel Martinelli found the back of the net with a superb run and finish.

However, the goal was ruled out as referee Paul Tierney ruled out the goal as he spotted a foul on Christian Eriksen by Martin Odegaard. The Gunners will certainly be hoping Zinchenko’s next great touch is a goal scoring one.
