Penalty rules revamped after Emi Martinez’s World Cup ‘s***housery masterclass’

Emi Martinez's shootout antics have sparked football's law makers to make plans for new penalty rules.

The Argentina and Aston Villa goalkeeper was a menace to France in the World Cup final last month, using every trick in the s***housery book as he put off their takers to great effect. His relentless gamesmanship played a huge part in his nation triumphing 4-2 on pens.

But he rubbed the International FA Board (IFAB) up the wrong way. They now want to make changes to the rulebook which will restrict keepers from interfering with the impending spot kick.

According to The Sun, the IFAB agreed last week that shot stoppers shouldn't be allowed to delay penalties or "unfairly distract" the kicker.

They intend to draft new regulations to be given the green light at their Annual General Meeting in London this March, which will come as a disappointment to the s***house king Martinez.

After terrorising France in the shootout, he unforgettably placed his Golden Glove trophy to his crotch and pretended to hump it in front of FIFA's officials.

The governing body took issue with his behaviour too, announcing earlier this month they've "opened proceedings" against Argentina over "potential breaches of the Disciplinary Code" and "Regulations in conjunction with the Media and Marketing Regulations".

They've yet to take action against Martinez, who also went on to troll Kylian Mbappe by holding baby dolls with his face on during the trophy parade back in their home country.
