Rangers’ Cedric Itten’s girlfriend poses in Gers hoodie as boyfriend makes debut

The model girlfriend of Rangers star Cedric Itten has thrown her support behind the Gers after her boyfriend was named in today's starting line-up.

Swiss star Itten, 23, starts against Kilmarnock today for the first time since his move from St Gallen.

And supporting him every step of the way is Nina Dubach, his girlfriend who has moved to Glasgow with him.

Ahead of today's game, she shared a snap of herself walking the streets of the city and another image of today's team sheet.

She then shared a selfie of herself wearing a Rangers hoodie and said: "Go Rangers."

Nina is a fashion model, and boasts thousands of followers on the social media site.

They have been together for more than seven years, and are as smitten as ever after sharing a string of loved-up snaps.

After signing, one cheeky Gers fan commented on a picture of them together on Itten's profile and wrote: "Welcome to Rangers, bring her with you!"

Itten himself has more than 30,000 Instagram followers, mostly sharing images of his past glories at his ex-club.

After signing Itten, boss Steven Gerrard said: "Cedric is a goal scorer who will add further strength and depth to our squad.

"The fact we have announced two attacking options in the same day highlights our intent to bolster our squad as we begin the campaign.

"I am pleased that a player of Cedric’s ability and potential has decided to join Rangers as he embarks in the next stage of his career."

Itten was part of a double signing, with the Gers also moving for Kemar Roofe.

On Roofe, Gerrard said: "Kemar is recognised throughout Europe as an intelligent attacker with an eye for goal.

"He has experienced the pressure and expectation at Leeds United and has played on the continent which will stand him in good stead for his time at Ibrox."
