There was an emotional tribute to former Bologna coach and ex-Roma player Sinisa Mihajlovic before kick-off.

Jose Mourinho sat out a touchline ban in the stands along with injured Georginio Wijnaldum and Ebrima Darboe, but Dybala was ready to start just two weeks after winning the World Cup with Argentina.  

England striker Abraham was surprisingly dropped to the bench with midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo leading the line for Jose Mourinho’s side.
