Roy Keane was known as a no-nonsense midfielder during his time as a player, and the Manchester United hero carried that attitude into his punditry.
So it will come as little surprise that the Irishman barely cracked a smile as a giggling Micah Richards showed him a video of his FIFA 21 character dancing around the pitch.
A clip has been circulating on social media this week showing Keane – who is an unlockable icon character on the latest version of the game – producing a series of dance moves to celebrate goals.
Richards, who enjoys a good relationship with Keane after appearing together on Sky Sports throughout the season, vowed to his Twitter followers that he would get Keane to react to the clip.
And on Sunday, following Manchester City’s 4-1 demolition of Liverpool at Anfield, the United hero followed through on that promise and showed the video to Keane.
Given the former midfielder’s attitude towards flair on the pitch, he wasn’t impressed.
Richards, giving out a trademark hysterical laugh, said: “Roy, talk me through this video.”
But Keane didn’t see the funny side, and simply turned away from the screen and got off his chair as Richards fell apart laughing.
Richards captioned the tweet: “A lot of fans asked me to show Roy a funny video from TikTok and I wasn’t going to let you all down… I just can’t play you the real audio,” along with a laughing emoji.
Keane had just finished tearing into Liverpool’s defeat against City when he was shown the clip, having warned the Premier League champions it’ll be 30 years before they win the title again.

He said: “It’s excuse after excuse. Klopp said Man City had a break because of the virus and the excuses goes on and on.
“They lost 7-2 to Aston Villa and that was with Virgil van Dijk. You can say one-off, freak season, get on with it.
“Keep performing like that and it will be another 30 years before they win the league.”
