Sadio Mane taunts Crystal Palace after setting EPL record in Liverpool win

Sadio Mane taunted Crystal Palace by saying it would be ‘great to play them every single weekend’ after Liverpool’s 3-0 victory at Anfield on Saturday.

Goals from Mane, Mohamed Salah and Naby Keita saw Jurgen Klopp’s side defeat Palace and maintain their unbeaten start to the Premier League season

Mane’s goal was his 100th for the Reds and his ninth successive goal in games against Crystal Palace, the first time this has happened in Premier League history.

The Senegal star clearly relishes playing against the Eagles and admits he wishes Liverpool could play Crystal Palace every week.

‘I am lucky to score so many goals against Palace,’ Mane told BBC Sport. ‘Most important thing was the three points.

‘Right place, right time. I am lucky. And happy. Thank you to all the fans, club and staff. Without them I am nothing.

‘I would love to play against Crystal Palace… it would be great to play them every single weekend. In my head I am always thinking it is possible. I will keep trying and trying and trying.’

‘When you look back you have these games when it was really fun. And some was it was important. This is one of those important games.’
