William Saliba produced a superb last-ditch tackle on Kylian Mbappe to show Arsenal what they are missing in Marseille's 0-0 draw with Paris St-Germain on Sunday.
Saliba, 20, was sent out on loan to the French club in the summer after spending the second half of last season in Ligue 1 with Nice.
The centre-back is yet to make a competitive appearance for parent club Arsenal despite completing a £27million move from Saint-Etienne back in 2019.
Mikel Arteta clearly doesn't think he is ready to become a fully-fledged member of his first-team squad, but his performance against PSG makes that hard to believe.
Saliba was one of Marseille's standout performers in their 0-0 stalemate with the French giants on Sunday night, making a terrific challenge on Mbappe as he raced through on goal.
Lionel Messi picked out the 22-year-old and released him through on goal at the Stade Velodrome, only for the on-loan Arsenal defender to thwart him with a last-ditch tackle.

Gunners fans were impressed by what they saw, taking to Twitter to heap praise on Saliba.
One wrote: "He's so fast, it's amazing."
Another said: "What a player".
While one simply posted: "Masterclass".
Saliba has featured eight times for Marseille so far this season, helping Jorge Sampaoli's men take 18 points from their first 10 games.
It remains to be seen whether he has a long-term future at Arsenal, especially given the club forked out £50million to sign England centre-back Ben White over the summer.

Arteta said about Saliba before the start of the season: "Now he needs to play, play and play and enjoy his profession as well. And in order to do that I think we found the right club with him.
"He’s very happy to go there now. Hopefully he can enjoy his football and be ready for us for next season."
