Real Madrid defender Sergio Reguilon has insisted he is focused on finishing his loan spell with Sevilla but refused to rule out a move to the Premier League this summer.

Chelsea are on the lookout for a new left back and have been heavily linked with the 23-year-old but Sevilla are yet to end their 2019-2020 season with the club still in the Europa League.

Reguilon is adamant he will not consider his future until their campaign is over but refused to rule out a possible move to England.

‘If my year at Sevilla had not been good, then this would not be happening. These teams would not ring,’ he told Marca.

‘If I am fine, the team is fine and the club is fine, everyone is happy. But I do not think about these possibilities now – I’m sorry if that sounds like a cliché.

‘I’ve been saying since quarantine that until the season isn’t over I won’t be talking about my future.

‘Until then it would be unfair on myself, my team-mates and the club.

‘I have no complaints about anything, about the city, the club, my colleagues. I feel very loved. Who knows what will happen in the future.’

Chelsea have also been linked with Leicester’s Ben Chilwell but the Foxes are thought to want as much as £80million for the England international.

The Blues have already spent £53million on Timo Werner and look to be closing in on a deal for Bayer Leverkusen’s Kai Havertz, meaning Frank Lampard could look for cheaper alternatives.

Real are thought to be open to discussing a permanent deal for Reguilon, who is thought to be valued at around £18million.

The youngster has been a regular fixture in the Sevilla side, making four assists and scoring two goals in 29 LaLiga appearances.

Reguilon would not be short of options if Real do decide to sell with Sevilla keen on a permanent move while Everton are also said to be interested.
