Tottenham could help London rivals Chelsea and Arsenal secure top summer signings if they lure Antonio Conte as their next manager. Inter Milan boss Conte is one of the favourites to be the permanent successor to Jose Mourinho at Spurs.

Conte led Inter to their first Serie A title in 10 years this season.

However, his future at the San Siro is in doubt due to the financial struggles of the Italian giants.

Inter owners Suning put the club on the market earlier this year but have not yet been able to facilitate a sale.

That has led to reports that the club’s best players may have to be sold.

Italian outlet La Stampa says there is no guarantee Conte will be able to keep members of his squad that he wants.

The report says Tottenham have offered the former Chelsea boss a huge contract to move back to London.

Conte is unhappy at the situation at Inter and La Gazzetta dello Sport claim he could leave as early as this week.

The 51-year-old’s departure could spark further exits in terms of player departures at Inter.

And that is where it could be good news for both Chelsea and Arsenal.

Chelsea are in the market for a striker and have been linked with Tottenham star Harry Kane and Borussia Dortmund sensation Erling Haaland.

However, the chances of Kane moving across London are slim, whereas Dortmund would demand a huge fee for Haaland a year before his release clause becomes active.

Another option for Chelsea is to re-sign Romelu Lukaku from Inter.

La Gazzetta dello Sport say Lukaku could be sold to help improve Inter’s finances.

Last month, Reach PLC’s Transfer Window podcast claimed Lukaku was the first-choice striker signing for Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel.

Conte’s exit at Inter would make it easier for the club to sell their top goalscorer.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are in the market for a right-back and have been linked with Achraf Hakimi in recent months.

Once again, if Inter were without a manager, there would be less opposition to selling the 22-year-old.

Conte would not want to sell either Lukaku or Hakimi if he stayed at Inter, so his departure could open the door for Chelsea and Arsenal to make their moves.

Spanish outlets Marca and AS also both say Conte leaving Inter could lead to Lukaku and Hakimi being sold.
